The core business of Gazprom Neft subsidiary Gazpromneft-Aero is aviation refuelling and “wing-tip” sales of aviation fuels.
Year-end results for 2016 show Gazpromneft-Aero to be Russia’s outright market leader by sales volumes of aviation fuels, at more than 3.23 million tonnes.
The company has again expanded the geography of sales over the past year. As of the end of 2016, the Company provided jet fuel supply services at 235 airports in 63 countries of Southeast Asia, Europe, Africa, Australia as well as North and Latin America.
Company strategy envisages the further expansion of the international airport network in collaboration with local fuel suppliers, guaranteeing timely refuelling and high-quality service for air carriers.
The network of the Company’s refuelling complexes includes 47 facilities, including 46 in Russia and one abroad (Kyrgyzstan). The refuelling complex network in the Russian Federation expanded in 2016 with the acquisition of three refuelling complexes in the Chukotka Autonomous District in Anadyr, Pevek and Kerpeyevm. Gazpromneft-Aero provides high-quality aviation refuelling services to more than 100 Russian and international carriers.
The consistent high quality of the company’s aviation fuels is ensure through direct supplies from Gazprom Neft oil refineries (together with trusted local suppliers abroad), as a finely-tuned quality control system at the company’s fully regulated laboratories.
Gazpromneft-Aero was one of the first companies in Russia to insure all risks in the event of any potential harm to third parties, or the environment. On which basis, all of the company’s facilities and equipment are fully insured, anywhere in the world, for individual claims of up to $500 million.
